For the past 15 years, chronic depression has been a constant presence in my life. It started when I was just 12 years old, and for so long, I struggled to find hope or a sense of purpose. Earlier this year, however, something shifted. For the first time, I found a part of myself that truly wants to live and has hope for the future! It was a profound moment in my healing journey, and I’ve been working hard since then to support that little light inside of me. I wanted to use our “buffer” week to share with you a little about how I’ve been healing and offer some tools that you might not have considered using in your own journey.
